In March of 2003, motivated by their desire to provide compassionate and professional legal representation to residents of Southern Indiana and Jefferson County, Kentucky, Matthew Blanton and Jeffrey Branstetter created this firm by opening offices in Jeffersonville and Orange County, Indiana. A few years later, they were joined in this endeavor by then newly elected Jeffersonville City Court Judge, Kenneth C. Pierce, II. Since the abolishment of the Jeffersonville City Court at the end of 2015, Kenneth C. Pierce, II is now able to devote all of his time to the private practice of law, including criminal defense and family law matters. In July 2017, Mr. Branstetter left the firm to accept a Magistrate position in the Clark County Circuit Court.

 

Today, Blanton & Pierce continues to maintain offices in Jeffersonville, Indiana near the Clark County Government Center and near the town square in Paoli, Indiana. From these locations, we service clients from throughout Southern Indiana and Northern Kentucky who face challenges arising from criminal allegations, family and domestic matters, civil litigation, criminal background expungement and restoration of driving privileges.
